Prudentia Education Ltd Liverpool
Prudentia Education school was established in 2016; however, Prudentia staff are alternative education specialists and have over 20 years of delivery experience across a number of boroughs, including Liverpool, Knowsley, St Helens, Sefton, Halton, Stoke, Wirral and Cheshire West and Chester. The passion, expertise and commitment of staff empower the learners to progress academically and socially and lead to excellent post 16 progression opportunities.
Based in Garston and Wavertree, Liverpool, Prudentia offers alternative education provision to learners, who struggle within mainstream education. The education offer focuses on the delivery of Sports qualifications, as well as Maths, English and Work Skills. However, the pupils also cover the other subjects within the national curriculum.
We also offer additional vocational activities in Motor Vehicle Engineering, Catering, Beauty and work experience placements, where appropriate.
There are also wrap around enrichment Employability, Sexual Heath, Healthy Relationships and other Health and Wellbeing programmes, which further engage and stimulate learners.
Prudentia staff work collaboratively to ensure that learners’ educational aspirations are met. Key outcomes are the achievement of appropriate qualifications, an increase in attendance, engagement, motivation and improved behaviour. Prudentia is committed to providing additional social and emotional support to learners with behavioural difficulties and or special educational needs. Building resilience and improving mindfulness are essential goals for each individual.
Our programmes are effective, established and provide young people with excellent progression opportunities. We believe that all learners should have equal access to educational and vocational opportunities and will continually seek ways to improve accessibility and ensure that no individual or group in society are treated less favourably.
Prudentia staff have a proven track record of supporting young people, including those from disadvantaged and excluded sections of society. We strive to:
• Encourage young people into enterprise and development opportunities that help to improve their lives, teach them to value their heritage and those of others and enable them to contribute to society.
• Assist young men and women across Liverpool to improve their health and wellbeing by providing initiatives that promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
• Ensure that learners respect and value each other and the communities that they reside in (and neighbouring areas).
Prudentia has excellent learner engagement strategies, with high levels of attendance, retention and achievement. We are able to do this by employing a variety of methods, such as:
• Being responsive to our learners needs to enable them to raise aspirations and meet goals.
• Effective partnership working to identify opportunities in existing and emerging growth sectors
