Level 6 Diploma held in Early Intervention, Level 4 qualified in childcare and one of the first to receive the Liverpool Early Years Chartered Award. Currently working towards the Government Professional Development Programme. Children enjoy a large garden, go on regular days out and are offered homemade nutritious hot meals and snacks every day Including a minimum of five fruit and vegetables each day.

Under 5 have cared for a children needing support with behaviour, speech and language delayed development, English as an additional home language and visual impairment
For over five year olds, I have cared for a children with dyslexia and visual impairments
2. Please indicate which areas of SEN your expertise/experiences are in?
Additional training for Speech and Language development and supporting children and families whose first language is not English, currently working together with parents whos first language is Polish and Hungarian.
3. If you identify a child in your care is not meeting their developmental milestones, how would you plan to meet those needs?
After conducting regular assessments, progress reports and working closely with the family I would consider the level of need and support needed and either conduct a EHAT, contact my local children’s centre SENCO and/or signpost parents to relevant organisation or agency for further help and/or support
