Coram Beanstalk Reading Helper Volunteer

We create readers because when a child becomes a reader, they get the very best chance in life, and every child deserves that.

At Coram Beanstalk we believe that life is better when everyone can read well and express themselves with confidence. That's why we recruit, train and support volunteers to work with primary aged children to help them find a love of reading.

You will go into one of our partner primary schools for an afternoon a week and work with the same few children to help them grow a love of reading. You will listen to them read, read to them, engage in book chat and play book based games. We will train you and provide ongoing support throughout your time as a reading helper.
