Phoenix Primary School is a one-form entry mainstream primary school situated in Fairfield Liverpool.  

We have a 30 place Enhanced Provision for children with complex needs.  Admission to Enhanced Provision is through the SEND team.

Our School strives to offer an enjoyable and excellent education for children aged 3 to 11 years. We also advise and support parents and carers.

We have knowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers who are able to inspire and engage the children in a curriculum that develops the whole child.

There is a powerful air of optimism about our School; the journey we are travelling is an exciting one for all students, staff, governors, and families.

Enhanced Provision

  • Phoenix Primary School is a mainstream primary school with a 30 place Enhanced Provision which has been specially commissioned by Liverpool City Council, for girls and boys with complex learning difficulties (CLD)
  • Pupils with CLD have a diagnosis of moderate learning difficulties (MLD) by an Educational Psychologist and another special educational need, this may include autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) or social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)

Pupils with Enhanced Provision placements learn in separate classes to the mainstream pupils, this is called discrete provision and may have opportunities to integrate into mainstream classes whenever possible, for specific subjects or activities.
