Hello from Carolyn Lawler

Having worked as Liverpool’s Virtual School Head for 4.5 years, I am excited to expand my role and undertake additional responsibilities as the Head of Virtual School and Inclusion.

 

My main aim is to foster a sense of belonging for all children and young people in Liverpool, so they feel safe and are able to engage in education fully, allowing their learning and development to thrive.

 

There is a significant crossover between SEND and AP. Therefore, as a team, we will be identifying and addressing the barriers that prevent children and young people from accessing the support they need and working together to create a more positive and inclusive experience for all children and young people in Liverpool.

 

Inclusion must be a heart of everything we do, and I look forward to working with you all to make this happen.
