Paws for Kids- Endeavour Project

A North West Charity designed to support people and their pets escape from a life of violence and abuse to a better and caring future.

The Endeavour project is run by Paws for Kids a ground-breaking charity who aim to relieve the pressures on families escaping domestic abuse by providing:

Temporary fostering of pets belonging to these families

It is widely acknowledged that families where domestic abuse is prevalent may be deeply affected by witnessing abuse to their parent, siblings or pets, whether or not they are themselves victims of an assault.

In families where there is domestic abuse pets are often threatened, injured or killed as a means of keeping power and control over their partner and their children.

Pet fostering is provided in the North West- for the pets of women, men and children who need to access refuge or temporary accommodation because of Domestic Abuse.
